It's not every day you come across a squad quite like the Reef squad. Talented surfers, rad creatives, downright sweet human beings. As they continue to stay true to their "Just Passing Through" mantra, I was lucky enough to document their nomadic pass through the North Shore a couple of weeks ago . . .
Here are some stand-out moments as we surfed/swam/ran/hiked/ate/jumped/tanned our way across the 7-mile miracle . . .
On this day, we grabbed a couple of locals (Mahina, Amber, + team rider Billy) and showed the Reef squad a typical day in the life here which of course included a cageless shark dive with Islandview Hawai'i, food and lots of it, a drive to the east side, and a beautiful paddle to Chinaman's Hat . . .
To wrap up our week of adventuring, we did an all-day cruise with the team riders and a couple of local girls -- all which ended with a bon fire and brews on the beach . . .
It'll be a little while before I'm reunited with this crew, but the memories we shared are timeless and again, being able to capture them with my camera was a real treat.
Be sure to check out the footwear that was featured here on REEF.COM and on their Instagram accounts: @reef_girls and @reef_usa #justpassingthrough

P.S. So much love and prayers for Evan G. + his family, and a huge congrats to Billy for an unreal performance at Pe'ahi yesterday!
